Bangladeshi pilgrims on the way to Mina

Millions of devout Muslims from around the world who have gathered in Mecca to perform the holy Hajj will gather in Mina tomorrow. However, the pilgrims of Bangladesh will leave for Mina one day before the appointed time (Monday, June 26) in the evening (Sunday, June 25).

Normal time takes 20 minutes to reach Mina by car. But during the Hajj season it takes more than two hours due to heavy traffic on the roads.

Mina, which is about 9 kilometers away from the Holy Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba Sharif). The pilgrims of Bangladesh left for Mina on Sunday evening. Now Mina is like a tent city. Pilgrims will perform prayers and other worships in their respective tents.

Staying at Mina is part of the holy Hajj. 8 Zilhaj Pilgrims will stay at Mina. On Tuesday 9th Zilhaj, after performing the Fajr prayer, he will go to Arafat Maidan, about 14 km away, and stay till sunset.

Then go to Muzdalifah about eight kilometers away and spend the night and collect stones. 10 Zilhaj will return to Mina from Muzdalifah after Fajr prayer.

Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAB) M Shahadat Hossain Taslim said that after evening local time on Sunday, more than 122,000 pilgrims from Bangladesh left for the holy Mina. Transporting such a large number of pilgrims from the holy Mecca to Mina is a challenging task. He said that an action plan has been taken to take all the pilgrims to Mina within a certain period.

The Hajj office and Hajj agencies in Saudi have taken the decision to take the minaret of Bangladeshi Hajids a day earlier. This decision was taken in the meeting of Saudi Hajj Office, Hajj Agency on Saturday (June 24).

1 lakh 22 thousand pilgrims from Bangladesh have already reached Saudi Arabia. Hajj will be held on June 27 this year in Saudi Arabia. The next day is Eid-ul-Azha in Saudi Arabia on June 28. And in Bangladesh, Eid-ul-Azha is on June 29. The return flight will start on July 2.
