Discord has finally stopped treating Snapdragon Windows laptops like second-rate PCs
Windows users on the ARM platform are finally getting some love from Discord. The company is finally making a version specifically for Windows on ARM, which it should have done from the start.
Discord is now available natively on ARM-based laptops, and the company’s download page now lists separate Windows x64 and ARM64 downloads for the desktop app. So laptops running Qualcomm Snapdragon chips, including the latest batch of Copilot+ PCs, where users previously had to rely on regular Windows apps running via emulation.
Why is this good news for Discord users?
The original Discord app may not sound as exciting as the new features. However, his charm makes things work better. Discord is an application that is left open all day for gaming, calls, group chats, communities, and more. If it goes badly, the whole experience can go sour. And to date, emulated Discord apps running on ARM platforms generally run worse. It can be sluggish or just freeze. This is what prompted Discord to finally start working on an ARM64 version of its popular cross-platform VoIP app.
Native ARM support is important
Windows on Arm can run many regular x86 and x64 Windows applications via emulation, and Microsoft’s Prism emulator has improved greatly. But Microsoft’s own developers have made it clear that emulation cannot reflect the performance and battery life efficiency of apps built natively on ARM.
So we can expect improvements not only in terms of responsiveness, but also background efficiency and battery drain, which is especially important in apps that frequently run in the background. It also gives Snapdragon Windows laptops another dose of credibility at a time when Microsoft and Qualcomm are trying to convince buyers that ARM PCs are no longer a compromise.

By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
